The 21st Century reader, a population of visuals, demands for stories to be experiences. Since we were very young, we were read to (hopefully) with emotion through voice inflection and character's voices. We emerged ourselves in the story just as now as adults we emerge in the movies we see. Written stories have to deliver that same experience for their readers. How do we as writers do that? By showing instead of telling, of course! Check out this workshop to learn more about how to show instead of tell.
